The Manly Vale-Calabria Bowling, Sports and Social Club is organising the second annual Sydney Multicultural Festival, to be held at Passmore Oval, Campbell Parade, Manly Vale on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 February, 2010.

The primary aim of the Festival is to promote Multiculturalism and celebrate cultural diversity in the greater Sydney area and particularly on the Northern Beaches. This aim is achieved by bringing together members of various ethnic communities for a celebration of the achievements of all people and cultures. Multiculturalism is showcased through the sharing of traditions such as food, music and dance, performances and demonstrations of cultural practices.  

Based on the success of the 2009 Festival, which attracted over 10,000 people over the two days, we are looking forward to attracting an even larger number of visitors in 2010. While many of our visitors are from the Northern Beaches, we also have many visitors from areas right across Sydney and all over New South Wales.

Festivities get underway on Friday 26 February, with the Opening Dinner, a gala evening of international food & entertainment.  Contact the Club for tickets.

The Festival itself commences on Saturday 27th February at 10:00am until 10:00pm & continues on Sunday 28th at 10:00am until 9:00pm. 

A major highlight will be the fireworks spectacular at 8:00pm on Saturday night
